The Cavern is home to numerous bushman paintings, over 200 species of birds, 150 species of trees and a variety of wildlife, including Leopard and Eland. The resort offers daily guided hikes to see bushman paintings and rock carvings. For the more energetic, walks are organised to the Tugela Gorge and to the top of the Amphitheatre.
