Love Blooms at Gateway

The UmhlangaFebruary 12, 2024

It’s the month of love and Gateway has many, many ways to show it! A carefully chosen gift says more than a thousand words, a mall gift card gives them choice, whilst sharing time spent together is priceless.

Gateway’s always great for gifting, because it has everything – from blooms and useful gadgets to high-end tech and fashion. The great Gateway hack is that you can take your gift home beautifully wrapped.

“Visitors are loving our permanent Gifting Concierge service,” says Gateway’s Marketing Manager, Ayesha Sewbaran. “It’s our pleasure to wrap gifts purchased at the mall. Find out more about this service on the mall’s website.  During the month of February, shoppers will delight in our range of Valentine ’s-themed paper.”

The Gifting Concierge is a complimentary service which switches to a charity fundraiser for special occasions. In the run-up to Valentine’s Day, for every gift wrapped, Gateway will generously donate R25 to Reach for A Dream.

“Gateway is popular for Valentine’s shopping,” Sewbaran says. “From the indulgence spoils, to surprising someone with a gift you know they want – the mall’s got affordable luxury and everything in-between.

Patrons can also look forward to a Snap & Win competition. Visit the love inspired installation (opposite H&M) and pose for a picture. Upload picture to social media using #GatewayToLove and shoppers can stand to win a R2500 Gateway Card. T’s & C’s apply.

As an on-the-day venue, Gateway has a romantic love-themed activation to make your Valentines that much more memorable.  Find this lovely surprise opposite the information desk on Valentines Day between 11am and 9pm. Couples looking for ‘date night’ fun can catch a movie at Ster Kinekor and enjoy dinner at one of the many restaurants around the Palm Boulevard. If the relationship is at the ten-pin bowling, go-karting and coffee shop stage, Gateway has that too.
