Since keeping things natural has been a huge trend this year, they made use of a natural raw edge tabletop with a waterfall effect to the floor to create a showstopping bar table. You may never use the boardroom when your corporate bar looks like this!
With calming echo and vivid ocean colours, aqua is a popular colour that adds a vibrant energy to any corporate or home space, so they chose a close-up action shot of the ocean for the wallpaper, providing those pops of aqua throughout this modern contemporary canteen.
They tailor each project’s design approach according to the project, the brief and the client’s needs. After the initial consultation, they assess the project scope, level of involvement, and the detail required to complete the project comprehensively. Design with Soul
POP Design is an Interior Design practice that provides a professional service from concept to installation. They believe that the key to great design lies in the development and implementation of the design details and the seamless merging of architectural schemes with the design of their interior spaces.
With this in mind, they consider the psychological impact this built form will have on human habitation and design spaces. They love designing interior spaces that are a reflection of their environment and a reflection of the people that use the spaces. The design can elevate, enlighten and enrich. Its success lies in the simplicity of form and the authenticity of the material palette.
POP Design Studio uses an abundance of textures and natural materials. The goal is always to create a timeless space. A space that has synergy with its context. A space that resonates with its inhabitants. A space that evokes feeling. A space that has soul.
They specialise in the design of commercial, hotel, restaurant and high-end residential sectors, having gained incredible local and international experience in the design industry and working with architects to ensure a seamless transition between the exterior and interior spaces.
With the world requiring more from us and the daily hub of life has become increasingly challenging, we have turned to our interiors for calm. People now require spaces that give us more by having less. More productivity, family time, calm, rest and joy. Less clutter, fuss, disorganisation and anxiety.
They have shifted the design of interiors to accommodate these requirements, and a new focus is placed on a connection between nature and the built environment, individuality, and personal expression. Whilst the bright pops of colour of the 80s have danced their way into 2022 trends, the emphasis remains on a predominantly neutral colour palette infused with these colourful bursts. Straight lines have softened, and curves can be seen in the built form and individual furniture pieces’ shapes.

Imaginative Interiors
Born in 2012 from a love of ever-changing spaces, fabrics and textures, Taryn Flanagan Interiors creates grand yet homely and timeless interiors that seamlessly merge with architecture and landscape. The mixture of old and new combined with beautiful textures and organic feels makes the spaces they create unique and personal.
The team comprises Taryn, Christine, Tyla and Kerry, all exceptional women, each bringing their talent and expertise into every project. They specialise in high-end residential spaces and game lodges and have been part of incredible corporate projects. Their passion lies in renovating, recreating challenging areas that didn’t work, or bringing homes back to their former glory.
They have recently launched an online store which is a collection of all their favourite things. There’s lighting and scatters, and they plan to add outdoor planters to the collection within the next two weeks.
The aim is to design homes that can withstand the test of time and therefore do not follow trends, giving a space/design a time limit. Spaces are designed to suit the client’s needs and budget whilst remaining true to their design style.
All jobs start with a home visit, building a relationship and getting an insight into the client’s style and design preferences. During this meeting, clients’ requirements are discussed and what items they would like to keep, change and their ‘dreams’ for their space. With all this information, they then put together a design scheme with a full budget and images of each item, a furniture floor plan and all technical drawings if required. Once approved, all items are ordered, logistics are organised, and an installation date is booked with the client.
When designing full-scale projects (from the ground up), they do all working drawings, hardware specifications, electrical layouts etc., so that their builders and contractors have what they need to quote on.
As part of a fully cohesive team, your Interior Designers should be appointed at the very beginning before your plans are approved. This team then guides the client through the whole process, and they work alongside the entire appointed team, including landscaping.
